Our Policies
Confidentiality:
Sierra Soul Psychiatric and Wellness retains your medical record on a HIPPA-compliant platform. Your information is confidential and we do not release or share without your written consent with a few exceptions where mandated by the law.
Cancellation Policy:
When you schedule an appointment with a Sierra Soul Psychiatric and Wellness provider, that time is reserved for you. We do provide appointment reminders as a courtesy. This should not be relied on to remember your appointment time. It is your responsibility to keep track of your appointment. If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, Sierra Soul Psychiatric and Wellness requires a 48-hour notice of cancellation. This can be done via email or telephone.
The following fees will be incurred for any cancellations made with less than 48-hour notice – $100 fee for notification between 48-24 hours and $175 fee for less than 24 hour notice and/or no show. Please note that any late fees accrued are the sole responsibility of the patient and cannot be billed to insurance. Additionally, if you are more than 15 minutes late, the full cancellation fee will apply.

Legal Services:
Sierra Soul Psychiatric and Wellness LLC provides clinical services and does not provide services, including but not limited to:
- Legal and forensic cases.
- Without a court order, will not testify, provide evaluations or documentation regarding your treatment.
- Documentation for disability and emotional support animals.
Emergencies:
Sierra Soul Psychiatric and Wellness LLC does not offer crisis, emergency or after office hours care. If this is a medical emergency, please immediately call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do no use the patient portal, email, or phone for emergencies. Once stabilized, please contact SSPW for further management.
